Mokoma Chocolate is from the same people behind SUGOi Sweets.
As our love of chocolate grew while making chocolate treats such as bonbons we realized there is so much to learn about chocolate and we were too curious to avoid the chocolate "rabbit hole." When viewed from the outside, bean-to-bar chocolate is a magical world that produces these unique and fantastically flavored chocolate bars. We would eat these bars and ask ourselves, how did they make this? We wanted to see behind the curtain. Luckily the bean-to-bar chocolate world is full of wonderful people willing to share their chocolate making story and provide insights to new chocolate makers. We found our way by following their breadcrumbs before we started to find our own path, one we are still on.
It was a combination of these great tasting chocolate bars, our own curiosity, and the open community of chocolate makers that drew us in and inspired us to make our own chocolate and launch Mokoma Chocolate. We want to invite you on the wonderful journey that is chocolate making.

We source high quality cocao beans through a transparent trade system built on a commitment to value farmers, makers, and consumers.
Our single origin bars include only three ingredients; high quality cacao, organic sugar, and cocao butter.
Inclusion bar ingredients are held to the same high standards as all our products. We make ever effort to work with local ingredients. When those are not available we use only organic or transparent trade ingredients.

Our single origin bars have naturally nuanced flavors developed from the bean, one of the treasures of high quality chocolate. Our recipes and process are designed to let the bean's uniqueness shine. Even with only the same three ingredients, you will experience an assortment of flavors (fruity, nutty, floral, sweet, bitter, and more) from bar to bar.
